College of Mount Saint Vincent Hosts First New York Catholic Youth Day Nov. 3, 2012
10/9/2012 - Riverdale, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent is pleased to host the first New York Catholic Youth Day for High School and College Students, sponsored by the Office of Youth Ministry of the Archdiocese of New York, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This momentous event was scheduled to honor the annual World Youth Day, which is celebrated all over the United States on the 30th Sunday of Ordinary time, as declared by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. 

A welcome Mass will be celebrated by His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan. The day will feature music performed by different ministries from around the Archdiocese of New York, including performances by Fr. Stan Fortuna, CFR, Joan Sanchez and RP Band, Full Armor, and RioSquad. 

Workshops for High School Students, College Students, and Youth Ministers will be led by Tim Hanley from Hard as Nails Ministry, Fr. Stephen Norton, Pastor at St. Benedict’s Church, and Fr. Agustino Torres, CFR, and many more surprises.
