College of Mount Saint Vincent 2012 Reunion Weekend a Resounding Success
6/12/2012 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent’s 2012 Reunion Weekend was a huge success, attracting roughly 325 alumnae/i, who returned to their alma mater to catch up with classmates and reminisce about their years at the Mount from June 8 to June 10, 2012. This year, the classes honored were those ending in "2" and "7," from 1932 through 2007.

All major Reunion events, including the Welcome-Back BBQ Friday night, the Reunion Luncheon, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Class of 1962 and Dinner, which celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Class of 1987 on Saturday, featured a smorgasbord of global culinary delights.

This year’s special events included, “Mind Over the Mount” with Marc Salem, “Transcending Sport: The Impact of the Olympic Games,” with Jonathan Rosenberg of the Mount’s Department of Business and Economics, and “Marillac and Seton: Not Just Buildings,” with Mary Ann Daly, S.C.

Many Mount alumnae/i shared and listened to ghost tales during the “Haunted History & Lore: A Tour of the Mount by Night,” led by Coordinator for Alumnae/i Relations Michael Quinn ’11, which started from Fonthill Castle on Friday night.
