Beginning in 1998 in compliance with federal guidelines, the violations reported include the categories of referrals for alcohol, drugs, and weapons violations.

Beginning in 2002, statistics included all alleged violations on campus, including those occurring in the residence halls. This number does not reflect the total number of incidents, but the total number of students referred for disciplinary action.

Additionally, in 2022, the category of Public Property has been revised; it originally stated a total of 1 (one) each for ‘Fondling,’ ‘Robbery,’ and ‘Aggravated Assault,’ and after review has been corrected to 0 (zero) for each of those categories.

Unfounded crimes are crimes that have been investigated by law enforcement authorities and have been determined to be baseless and false. Only sworn law enforcement can determine that a crime is unfounded.
