College of Mount Saint Vincent Students Begin a New Academic Year with Welcome Week

Riverdale, N.Y. – University of Mount Saint Vincent students will begin the 2015-2016 academic year with Welcome Week, August 31-September 6.

Activities start Monday, August 31 with the First Day of Classes, which will end with Brown Bag Bingo at 9 p.m. in Hudson Heights. September 1 is Trippin’ Tuesday featuring Geoff Keith at 9 p.m. in Hayes. Wednesday, September 2 features a Student Government Association (SGA) Info Session at 5 p.m. in the Back Room of Hudson Heights, followed by Paintball between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit and the Matriculation Ceremony is Thursday, September 3 at 4 p.m. in Hayes Auditorium. ‘Phin Fest will follow between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Grace Plaza. Friday, September 4 is the Dolls, Flava: Roller Rink Welcome Back Party from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the Old Gym. Welcome Week ends September 6 with Saturday in the City: Bryant Park and Times Square.
