Women's Volleyball to host HVWAC Quarterfinal Round on

Dolphins to finish regular season in HVWAC top-three
10/20/2005 - (Riverdale, NY) - After
an incredible 6-0 start in regular season play for the
Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC), the
Mount Saint Vincent Women's Volleyball team has
clinched a home game for the Quarterfinal round of the
HVWAC playoffs. The playoff game will take place on Friday,
Nov. 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hayes Gymnasium against an
opponent to be determined at a later date based on the
finish to the regular season.
The Mount will finish in the top two in the HVWAC this season, but their final seeding will depend on the results of their final two HVWAC contests. On Tuesday, Oct. 25, Mount Saint Vincent will travel to Marymount College for a 7:00 p.m. match. On Thursday, Oct.. 27, the Mount will host defending HVWAC Champion, St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) at 7:00 p.m. for their final regular season match.
Mount Saint Vincent is currently 10-17 overall. Last season, the Dolphins finished 9-12, advancing to the HVWAC Semifinals where they lose to St. Joseph's (Brooklyn).
