10/18/2005 - (New York, New York) - Junior Roxanne Predergast (Center Moriches, NY/Westhampton Beach HS) had her sixth double-double of the season with 13 kills and 14 digs, and senior Monique Lopez (Bronx, NY/Aquinas HS) had a double-double of her own with 12 assists and 14 digs, but the Mount Saint Vincent Women's Volleyball team lost 3-1 to Hunter on Tuesday night. The Mount won the first game, 30-22, but lost the last three games, 22-30, 21-30, and 23-30, and have now lost three of their last four matches.

The Mount was also led by rapidly improving sophomore Edeana Martinez (Bronx, NY/St. Catherine's HS), who had a career-high 10 total blocks and added five kills against only one error. Martinez leads the Skyline Conference with a 1.30 blocks per game average, and had her finest performance in two years at the Mount last night.

The Dolphins return to action Wednesday with a home date against defending Skyline Conference champions, Stevens. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m.
