Last week, Predergast averaged 2.67 kills, 2.80 digs, and 0.45 service aces as Mount Saint Vincent downed Maritime College, St. Elizabeth, and Pratt, while losing to Skyline Conference rivals St. Joseph’s (LI) and Old Westbury. Mount Saint Vincent is 1-5 in Skyline Conference play, but is also 6-0 in the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) and tied for first place. For the season, Predergast leads Mount Saint Vincent in kills per game (2.43), attack percentage (.169), and digs per game (2.22).
Also earning Skyline Conference Honor Roll was Men’s Soccer freshman goalie William Raftery (Bronx, NY/Salesian HS). The rookie made his second career start against Centenary on Saturday and rose to the occasion, stopping 15 out of 18 shots he faced. While Mount Saint Vincent lost 3-0 to the Cyclones, Raftery turned in a sensational performance and kept the game close.
