Bridge Program

RNs with a baccalaureate in a major other than nursing may be enrolled as a non-matriculated student  in the Graduate Nursing Program.

Admission requirements include:

  • Current RN license
  • A baccalaureate degree from a regional accredited college or university 
      
  • Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools are required to have their nursing transcripts evaluated by the Commission
    on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS).  http:/www.cgfns.org/
  • Completed application and fee
  • An admission interview with the Director of the Department of Nursing
  • English Essay Examination
    • Successful completion of  17 undergraduate courses
      General Chemistry                                4 credits

      Health Assessment                               3 credits
      Completion of the College of Mount Saint Vincent's Department of Nursing undergraduate Community course  which includes 5 weeks of lecture and 60 clinical hours - 4 credits
