Clinical Eligibility
The clinical component of the nursing program begins in the Fall semester only. To be eligible for the clinical component, you must have at least 60 credits and a GPA of 3.0. You also must have successfully completed the following science pre-requisites: Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II, and Microbiology. The science prerequisites may be completed at the College of Mount Saint Vincent or transferred from another school. Nursing candidates applying as transfer or second degree students to the College of Mount Saint Vincent must have earned a grade of "B" in all required transferred science courses and completed within the last five years.
