Angiolillo, a Centerfielder, finished the season fourth on the team with a .352 batting average, and led the Skyline Conference with 25 Stolen Bases. In fact, during two years of play, Angiolillo has been successful in all 47 stolen base attempts.
Piccoli, a Shortstop, finished the team second in Batting Average (.430), first in RBI’s (30), and finished in the top-five in the Skyline Conference in Batting Average, On Base Percentage, and RBI’s. Piccoli also had an outstanding season in the field for the Mount with a .902 fielding percentage at Shortstop.
Mount Saint Vincent graduated only four members of the 2005 team. With a strong nucleus returning along with a solid recruiting class, the Dolphins are expected to once again challenge for the HVWAC Championship in 2006.
