Fine Arts & Humanities
A minor in Fine Arts can be achieved by completing eighteen (18) credits in Fine Arts.   A core Fine Arts course in Visual Art or Music, must be included in the eighteen credits.  Students seeking to minor in Fine Arts must gain approval from the department chair.

The Fine Arts curriculum includes courses in Studio Arts and Art History.

Studio Art courses seek to foster, in students, a sensitivity to the world around them and its implications for artistic interpretation.  Students are encouraged to develop their potential for expressing, in visual terms, their own response to aesthetic, social, and cross-cultural concerns.

Art history courses are designed to give students an understanding of the major artists and movements through history and their impact on culture and society.
