The New York Classical Players are committed to bringing classical concerts back to the public through the advisement of Dongmin Kim, music director and conductor. Magnificent Bach will showcase some of the group’s best young instrumentalists to perform all four J. S. Bach violin concertos including two double concertos. Also included in the program is Alexandra du Bois’ innovative new composition, Noctilucent Song for String Orchestra, commissioned by the New York Classical Players. The concert will end with Air on G string from Orchestral Suite No. 3.
The New York Classical Player’s visit is funded by the Sisters of Charity Ministry Grants program.
