The College of Mount Saint Vincent is looking for a coach eager to gain sufficient amount of experience working at the college level. The Assistant Coach is responsible for carrying out all activities necessary to accomplish the objectives of the sport within the guidelines of the NCAA, the Skyline Conference and the ECAC.
Duties include but not limited to:
Teach and provide fundamentals, position details, and strategies of volleyball for practices and games.
Develop structured practices to meet certain goals.
Counsel student-athletes in good sportsmanship, sport participation, personal development, and academic success.
Travel and recruit locally or out of state.
Assist in any other duties as instructed by Head Coach.
NOTES: Local Residents Preferred
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education or related field. Required: Previous successful coaching and playing experience on the College or High-School level, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, recruiting experience and knowledge of NCAA Division III, the Skyline Conference and the ECAC rules and regulations. Valid driver's license is required.
