Family Nurse Practitioner
Department: Health Center/Services
Reports To: Director of Health Services
Summary:
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) works in the College Health Center two to three hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and is available by phone at other times.
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner who has a working relationship with his/her collaborating physician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform exams for illness and/or injury, order tests, make referrals, and prescribe medications.
Qualifications:
NYS Registered Nurse License (RN)
NYS Family Nurse Practitioner License (FNP)
Current CPR & AED/ basic life support for health care providers
Skills:
Strong communication skills
Experience working in a campus environment preferred.
