Official transcripts from all post secondary institutions attended. The undergraduate GPA required for admission is 3.0. Applicants who have non-U.S. credentials must present a course-by-course evaluation of their international credentials. A number of agencies provide this service. References and transcripts can be sent separately or as part of the complete application. Both references and transcripts should be sent in envelopes sealed by the individual issuing the reference or the college issuing the official transcript. Copies and open envelopes are unofficial documents and will not be accepted.
All applicants will need to conduct an admissions interview with the program coordinator.Writing Proficiency
All degree candidates must successfully complete the English Essay Exam prior to acceptance into the program. No special preparation is required for this exam. The successful applicant will be contacted by the coordinator of the program for an appointment to take the exam. Anyone whose proficiency exam demonstrates weakness in writing will be referred to the Academic Resource Center and/or registered for a non-credit course to improve writing skills prior to enrollment in graduate courses.
All required information must be on file before an admission decision will be made
by the Admission Committee.
