Launched in the fall of 2009, the College of Mount Saint Vincent Mentors Program pairs successful alumnae/i, Trustees, and friends of the College with bright, dedicated students eager to gain the skills and insight that will allow them to channel their passion and talents into successful careers.
Mount students are paired with accomplished professionals in a wide range of fields, including television, nonprofit management, information technology, law, and real estate, under the guidance of Assistant Professor of Sociology Kristin Lawler.
Students are often paired with professionals who work outside their field of interest to emphasize the transferability and universal nature of the skills necessary for success in any field. The pairs meet frequently throughout the year to socialize, network, and attend cultural events.
