Recent Alumnae/i
With a strong liberal arts background and practical skills learned at internships, Mount Saint Vincent’s seniors graduate from the College ready to work, pursue advanced study, or both.

Here’s what just a few of our recent alumnae/i are doing:

James Nitzkorski, B.S., Biology, 1999, graduated cum laude from medical school at the University of Buffalo. He is doing his residency in general surgery at Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, a teaching hospital of Columbia University.

Diana Arias, Psychology, Class of 2001, received a full scholarship at University of California-Santa Cruz. She is studying for her Ph.D. in developmental psychology.

Lavar Brown, B.S., Business Administration, Class of 1999, coordinates the internship program at Merrill Lynch. He also serves on the College’s Business Advisory Council.

Kathleen Englehardt, B.S., Biology, Class of 2000, is enrolled in her third year at Stony Brook Dental School.

Esperanza Borrero Large, Psychology, Class of 2003, is attending Columbia University’s Master in Social Work program and working at the Mount as an assistant resident director.

Christine Brady
, B.A., Math with an Economics minor, Class of 2003, completed her master’s in applied math and statistics at SUNY Stony Brook in May 2005. She now plans to pursue her doctorate in statistics and do research in biostatistics and genetics.
