Core Curriculum
All students are required to complete Introduction to Psychology (PSYC 103) which is one of the foundation courses in the Core Curriculum. This course is taken in the first year
Majors
Every student who wishes to declare a major in Psychology should consult with the Chairperson. Psychology majors must achieve a grade of C or better in Introduction to Psychology I before taking any other Psychology courses.
Students who are considering graduate school should consult with their faculty advisor before their junior year and are advised to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). As part of the department’s ongoing outcomes assessment, students may be required to take a standardized test or complete an assignment at the discretion of the faculty.
