Dear Class of 2017 and Parents/Guardians:

The Mount recognizes that starting college begins a new chapter in the lives of our students as well as their parents and family members.  To assist with this transition we offer our new student orientation program; Your Journey Starts Here. This is a one and a half day program that is mandatory for new students and parents are strongly encouraged to attend. 

Both resident and commuter students will stay in our residence hall on the evening of day one. The parent program ends on day. Parents are welcome to stay in the residence halls overnight for a nominal fee. There are no other fees for attending this program.
