WMSV Radio Station to Present Mount Jam 2

Riverdale, N.Y. -- The College of Mount Saint Vincent’s WMSV radio station will present Mount Jam 2, a break-dancing competition, from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the Peter Jay Sharp Athletic Center. The event will be hosted by “The Underground Section” radio show and the break-dancing group 5 Crew Dynasty. The dance crews competing in the 16 crew battle tournament hail from across the Northeast. Artwork will be provided by Nelson Seda, B-boy Chief 69 from breaking group Floor Royalty Crew.

“The Underground Section” radio show serves as inspiration for this event; the show focuses on alternative hip hop music and break-dancing. The event is $3 for Mount students, and $4 for general admission.
