Prior to becoming a professor, Dr. Aversano held numerous leadership positions in the private sector of the technology industry for more than 30 years. She worked with companies including IBM, Xerox and AT&T/Lucent Technologies. Now, she bridges the practical experience of the business world with the theory of the academic realm. She believes in the importance of combining the two competencies.
