Students in the College’s undergraduate program in Nursing leading to the Bachelor of Science degree are encouraged to discuss a program of study option that is designed to facilitate the process of earning both the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Nursing at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in a condensed time frame.
Undergraduate Nursing students may take up to 6 graduate credits in Nursing during their Senior year with the following stipulations:
a. The student’s cumulative grade point average must be at least 3.0; and
b. The student must obtain the recommendation of their academic adviser.
Nursing students interested in pursuing this curricular option should consult with faculty members in the Nursing Department early in their course of study, and should identify themselves as electing this option by notifying the Department of Nursing.
