Italy Study Abroad During January Intercession

College of Mount Saint Vincent students have the opportunity to experience Italian culture first-hand through a three-week course, including a two week stay in Rome: "The Eternal City."

Program Details

  • Three-week course during the January Intercession including a two-week stay in Rome, "The Eternal City." Departure: January 5, 2014. Return: January 18, 2014.
  • No previous knolwedge of Italian is required.
  • One course is three credits. You can choose one of the following:
    • ITAL 216/316 Aspects of Italian Culture
    • HIST 380 History of the City of Rome
  • Visits to churches, monuments, museums, and ancient ruins.
  • Social and cultural activities including Italian language classes, music, film, and opera performances as well as lessons on Italian cuisine
  • Opportunity to experience Italian culture first-hand
Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors in good academic standing. Non-College of Mount Saint Vincent students are also welcome to apply.

$1,200 Program Fee + $1,050 Tuition + Airfare*
*Lodging, language classes, cultural activities, local transportation, and travel insurance are included in the Program Fee. Most meals and other travel expenses are not included. You are responsible for your own flight: airfares range from $800- $1,200. Cost subject to change and availability.
