One of the greatest swimmers to ever grace the Mount Saint Vincent pool, Beth Clark was named Interim Head Coach of the Mount Saint Vincent Women's Swimming team prior to the start of the 2006-07 season. Clark immediately responded to the challenge of coaching at the College level by earning Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) Co-Coach of the Year after leading the Mount to a 4-1 record in HVWAC competition this Fall, good for a second place regular season finish.
While this is Clark’s first coaching stint, her experience in the pool speaks for itself and has provided huge dividends as she continues to acclimate to the life of a college head coach. A four-year member of the Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team, Clark was a two-time MVP, Team Captain, and led the Dolphins to a second place finish in the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) Championships during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. At the HVWAC Championships, Clark earned a combined six medals during the last two years.
Prior to the Mount, Clark was a two-time Team Captain at St. John’s High School in Silver Spring, Maryland and has been a competitive swimmer since the age of six.
