1/21/2010 - In its first meet since December 4 the College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team was downed at John Jay on Wednesday night by a score of 61-34. The Dolphins picked up two individual wins on the night with Michelle Cabahug (Queens Village, N.Y.) winning the 100-yard backstroke and Jeanette Marrocco (Brooklyn, N.Y.) winning the 200-yard freestyle.
11/21/2009 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team was defeated on Friday evening by a score of 117-67 at USMMA-Kings Point. Sophomore Amanda Costa (River Edge, N.J.) paced the Dolphins with two individual second place finishes at the meet
11/16/2009 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team was defeated on Saturday afternoon in its Skyline Conference opener at Purchase by a score of 118-67. The Dolphins captured four individual second place finishes on the day with Amanda Costa (River Edge, N.J.) taking second in the 50 and 500-yard freestyle.
11/11/2009 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming squad picked up its second win in three meets on Monday night with a 148-105 triumph at the College of New Rochelle. The Dolphins swept the relay events against the Blue Angels and Michelle Cabahug (Queens Village, N.Y.) and Amanda Costa (River Edge, N.J.) each picked up two individual wins.
11/9/2009 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team was defeated on Saturday afternoon at Sarah Lawrence by a score of 150-105. Senior Michelle Cabahug (Queens Village, N.Y.) paced the Mount in the tightly contested meet with two individual victories on the afternoon.
2/11/2009 - College of Mount Saint Vincent freshman Amanda Costa (River Edge, N.J.) has been named Skyline Conference Women’s Swimming Co-Rookie of the Year after her performance at the Skyline Championships on February 7. Costa earned two Rookie of the Week honors this season and posted the highest individual finish for the Mount at the championship meet.
11/7/2008 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team earned a hard fought 58-56 win at the College of Saint Elizabeth on Thursday evening in its season opener. Mount Saint Vincent had three swimmers post victories in two individual events at the meet.
2/11/2008 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team closed out the 2007-08 campaign with a fourth place finish at the Skyline Conference Championships on Saturday afternoon. Michelle Cabahug (Queens Village, NY) had a strong afternoon for the Dolphins as she took home the highest individual finish on the team, placing second in the 100-yard backstroke.
12/10/2007 - For the second time in three seasons the College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team placed second at the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference Swimming Championships. In the closet championship in the past three seasons, the Dolphins posted 318 points and trailed only Purchase who finished with 355 points. Three Mount Saint Vincent swimmers were named All-Conference on Friday, while head coach Beth Clark was named Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.
11/13/2007 - College of Mount Saint Vincent sophomore Kim Abbott (Malone, NY) has been named the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
12/6/2005 - Mount Saint Vincent Senior Elizabeth Clark (Silver Spring, MD/St. John’s Prep), junior Maggie McGowan (Brooklyn, NY/St. Savior), and sophomore Marie Garcia (Medford, MA, Medford HS) were named to the All-Conference team of the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) after helping to lead the Dolphins to a 4-1 Conference record this season, and a runner-up finish at last Friday’s HVWAC Championships.
