2/11/2008 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming
team closed out the 2007-08 campaign with a fourth place
finish at the Skyline Conference Championships on
Saturday afternoon. Michelle Cabahug (Queens
Village, NY) had a strong afternoon for the
Dolphins as she took home the highest individual finish
on the team, placing second in the 100-yard backstroke.
12/10/2007 -
For the second time in three seasons the College of
Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team placed
second at the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic
Conference Swimming Championships. In the closet
championship in the past three seasons, the Dolphins
posted 318 points and trailed only Purchase who finished
with 355 points. Three Mount Saint Vincent swimmers were
named All-Conference on Friday, while head coach
Beth Clark was named Coach of the Year
for the second consecutive season.
12/4/2007 - For
the first time in six seasons the College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team defeated
Sarah Lawrence on Saturday afternoon.
Michelle Cabahug (Queens Village,
NY) and Liz Pezzello (Mount Kisco,
NY) led the Dolphins to a 137-110 triumph
with Cabahug winning two events and Pezzello taking
first three times on Saturday.
11/13/2007 - College of
Mount Saint Vincent sophomore Kim Abbott
(Malone, NY) has been named the Hudson
Valley Women’s Athletic Conference Swimmer of
the Week it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
12/6/2005 - Mount Saint
Vincent Senior Elizabeth Clark
(Silver Spring, MD/St. John’s Prep), junior
Maggie McGowan (Brooklyn, NY/St.
Savior), and sophomore Marie Garcia
(Medford, MA, Medford HS) were named to the
All-Conference team of the Hudson Valley
Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) after
helping to lead the Dolphins to a 4-1 Conference
record this season, and a runner-up finish at last
Friday’s HVWAC Championships.
