Fraino, Laurent victorious in singles action as Dolphins open HVWAC campaign with victory
9/16/2006 - Juniors Megan Fraino (New City, NY/Clarkstown South HS) and Megan Rochford (Lynbrook, NY/Malverne HS), and freshman Karen Laurent (Queens, NY/St. John's Prep) were victorious in singles play as the Mount Saint Vincent Women's Tennis team opened their 2006 Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) slate with an 6-3 win over the Pratt Institute during a match played at Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon. With the Conference win, the Dolphins improve to 1-1 for the 2006 season and avenge an 8-1 loss to the Cannoneers during the 2005 season. More...

9/9/2006 - Sophomore Jessica Lorenzen (Pembroke, NH/Pembroke Academy) earned her first collegiate victory at fifth singles, and junior Megan Fraino (New City, NY/Clarkstown South HS) won at sixth singles, but the Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Tennis team opened the 2006 season with a 6-3 loss to St. Joseph’s (LI) on Saturday during a match played at Mount Saint Vincent. 8/14/2006 - The 2005 tennis season marked a renaissance of sorts for Mount Saint Vincent as the Mount’s first season back from a one-year hiatus proved to be nothing short of successful. The Dolphins finished the 2005 season with a 5-7 overall record that included their first Skyline Conference win in four years, and a third place regular season and playoff finish in the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC). The 2006 season will be a challenge once again for Head Coach Frank Fanning and the Dolphins as the Mount will once again face the very best both conferences have to offer. More...

Amanda Nadhir10/25/2005 - When the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) Tennis playoffs conclude this coming weekend, the beginning of a new era for the sport at the College of Mount Saint Vincent will officially come to an end. A year after Mount Saint Vincent took a hiatus from the sport, the Mount has returned to action in 2005 and enjoyed an outstanding measure of success. Should the Dolphins defeat the College of New Rochelle on Friday, they will finish the regular season 5-7, and with only one senior on the roster, the seeds for a successful future appear to be in place. Dolphins lose fifth straight, eliminated from Skyline Conference playoffs
10/23/2005 - The Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Tennis team was eliminated from the Skyline Conference playoffs today after losing to Manhattanville College 8-1. The loss was the fifth straight for the Mount (3-7), who finishes the season with a 1-4 record in Skyline play. With the win, Manhattanville ends the regular season with a 5-0 record in the Conference and will enter the Conference playoffs as the top seed. More...

Former Marist Assistant to restart Tennis programs at the Mount
7/27/2005 - Mount Saint Vincent Director of Athletics, Cathy Ingram, has announced the hiring of Frank Fanning as Head Men’s and Women’s Coach. Fanning, a 1994 graduate of North Carolina State – Raleigh, will restart the Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs at the Mount as the teams did not compete during the 2004-05 academic year, but will once again be varsity programs during the upcoming academic year.
