Assistant Professor of Nursing
Nursing: The College of Mount Saint Vincent (Riverdale, New York) seeks a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Nursing with a strong, student-centered focus and a terminal degree in Nursing preferred. Master’s degree in nursing required as well as current clinical expertise. Appointment will start in Fall 2010.
Responsibilities will include teaching courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs, advising and mentoring students, doing scholarly work, and participating in service activities. The College of Mount Saint Vincent is a private, Catholic institution with approximately 1450 undergraduate students and 225 graduate students located in Riverdale, New York. Our beautiful 70-acre campus of rolling lawns and wooded hills overlooking the Hudson River is just 12 miles from midtown Manhattan. Our Nursing program also offers courses at our Mid-Manhattan site (2nd Avenue between 64th and 65th street) and Nursing faculty teach at both locations.
