Ruckdaschel helped the Mount to a 2-2 record over the first four games of the season by hitting an even .500, scoring seven runs and driving in six. He picked up at least one hit in each of the four games and drove in at least one run in three of the four. He connected on his first home run of the season in the first game against Cortland and added his second in the opener against St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn. Overall for the week he finished 6-12 at the plate with a double and two homers and also drew three walks.
At 2-2 overall on the season, Mount Saint Vincent will be back in action again on Thursday afternoon when it hosts Western Connecticut. First pitch at Baseball Heaven in Yaphank, N.Y. is set for 3:30 p.m.
