The Women's Volleyball team held its first alumni match and helped raisemoney for The Intracranial Hypertension Research Foundation.
Riverdale, N.Y. - On October 31 the College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Volleyball team gathered for its first ever alumni game and to raise money for a very special cause. The Dolphins came together to connect with alumni and to help raise money for 2007 graduate Jessica Thorn who was diagnosed with a rare brain disease called Intracranial Hypertension.

Current and former players were on hand for not only a friendly match but to help Thorn who was diagnosed with the disease in November of 2008. “It was a great opportunity to play against the alumni. Not only was it fun to play against past teammates, it was great chance to help Jessica, which made the day even better,” said current senior Tara Mead.

The volleyball squad made available bagels and cookies and also held raffles all in an effort to help raise money for the Intracranial Hypertension Research Foundation.
