The Division of Natural Sciences at the College of Mount Saint Vincent seeks a physical chemist for a tenure-track position in the Chemistry and Biochemistry department beginning Fall 2010.  Teaching responsibilities may include physical chemistry, introductory physics (algebra-based), and a variety of courses for chemistry majors.  The position involves teaching lectures and any or all associated labs.  The candidate will also be expected to participate in science courses that are taught as part of the college’s core curriculum.   The candidate is expected to have a Ph.D. in either physical or analytical chemistry or  a related field and the potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and research.  Post doctoral experience is preferred but not required.
