Coming Up This Week: Mount Saint Vincent has a busy five match week starting on Tuesday evening. The Dolphins will travel to Purchase on Tuesday before hosting St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn on Wednesday for Senior Night. On Saturday the Mount will take on Maritime and NYU-POLY in Throggs Neck before heading north to face Sage on Sunday afternoon.
A Look Back At Last Week: The Dolphins only played one match last week and downed Medgar Evers 3-0 on Wednesday night. Irma Nepomuceno and Jessica Williams led the way with eight kills each. Bridget Leonard also had a strong match handing out 28 assists and posting six service aces.
Dolphins To Host Senior Night: Wednesday’s match against St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn will be the final home match of the season for the Dolphins. Prior to the 8:30 p.m. match against the Bears, the four seniors on this season’s squad will be recognized in a pre-match ceremony.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month: October serves as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Dolphins wil be hosting Let’s Rock and Roll For A Cure, Inc. to the match on Wednesday night. Lets Rock and Roll for a Cure provides in home wellness services to cancer patients. Come buy a t-shirt, get some information and support a good cause! All fans attending Wednesday’s match are encouraged to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
