Mount Saint Vincent Head Swimming Coach Beth Clark.

Riverdale, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Department of Athletics and Head Women’s Swimming coach Beth Clark ’06 announced the 2009-10 Women’s Swimming Schedule Thursday afternoon. The slate features 12 meets, including the Skyline Conference Championships on February 6.

The slate opens on November 5 when the Dolphins travel to former Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference rival Saint Elizabeth. The season opener kicks off a busy month of November for the Dolphins, who will compete five times in the month. After the date with the Eagles, the Mount will swim against Sarah Lawrence on November 7 and New Rochelle on November 9.

Following a busy first week of the season, Mount Saint Vincent will swim against its first Skyline Conference opponent when it heads to Purchase on November 14. The Dolphins will take on USMMA-Kings Point on November 20, before rounding out the semester at Hunter on December 4.

The 2010 portion of the schedule will open on January 20 at John Jay and will also include meets with league opponents at Mount Saint Mary on January 23, at Old Westbury on January 26 and at St. Joseph’s-L.I. on January 30. That will all lead up to the league championships on February 6.

The Dolphins finished the 2008-09 season with a 3-6 overall record and a 1-3 mark against Skyline opponents. Mount Saint Vincent rounded out the season with a fifth place finish at the Skyline Championships.
