Dolphins travel to Rutgers-Newark on Wednesday
8/30/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Soccer team has been selected to finish ninth in 2010 in the Skyline Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The Dolphins garnered 26 points in the poll that was voted on by the league’s 11 head coaches.
Men’s soccer program returns to the pitch after hiatus in 2009
8/30/2010 - After a one year hiatus in 2009 due to lack of participation, the College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s Soccer program has been picked to finish 11th in the 2010 Skyline Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The Dolphins received 17 points in the poll voted on by the league’s 11 head coaches.

8/30/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Volleyball Team has been picked to finish sixth in the 2010 Skyline Conference Preseason Poll it was announced on Monday morning. The Dolphins received 54 points in the poll voted on by the league’s 11 head coaches.
First year coach will mentor men’s and women’s programs at the Mount
8/24/2010 - College of Mount Saint Vincent Director of Athletics Steve Macias is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Loeffler as the school’s new head swimming coach. Loeffler will mentor the already established women’s team at Mount Saint Vincent as well as the new men’s squad starting in the upcoming academic year.
Dolphins open season September 2 at Yeshiva
8/18/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Volleyball squad will play 24 scheduled matches during the 2010 season, with the first coming on September 2 at Yeshiva. The Dolphins will play just seven home contests over the course of the campaign and will play their first match in the Pete Jay Sharp Recreation Center on September 23 against John Jay.
Amaral will mentor women’s soccer program after successful playing career at LIU
8/10/2010 - College of Mount Saint Vincent Director of Athletics Steve Macias has announced the hiring of Felicia Amaral to the positions of Head Women’s Soccer Coach and Assistant Athletic Trainer Monday afternoon. Amaral was a standout goalkeeper for Long Island University (LIU) from 2004-07 and also worked in Sports Medicine at the Division I level at both LIU and Columbia University.
First year player led Dolphins in scoring in 2010
7/15/2010 - College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s Lacrosse player Dan Cohen (Ardsley, N.Y.) has been named to the 2010 Jewish Sports Review Division II/III All-America Team it was announced on Thursday morning. In his first season with the Mount, Cohen led the Dolphins in scoring with 45 points. Cohen has become the program’s first ever All-America selection.
Lauren Percodani named Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year
7/1/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent had 38 student-athletes named to the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete list for winter and spring sports it was announced on Thursday afternoon. The Baseball and Men’s Lacrosse team each had seven players named to the list, while senior Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, N.Y.) was named the Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Junior backstop led the Mount with a .414 batting average
5/24/2010 - College of Mount Saint Vincent baseball player John McManus (Queens, N.Y.) has been named Second Team All-New York Region it was announced on Sunday night. McManus led the Dolphins in batting during the 2010 season with a .414 average and set the single season program record for home runs with his seven round trippers.
Centerfielder recorded 10 outfield assists in 2010
5/24/2010 - College of Mount Saint Vincent junior centerfielder James Labartino (Holbrook, N.Y.) has earned a New York Region ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award it was announced on Sunday night. Labartino was a First Team All-Skyline Conference selection in 2010 after hitting .346 and he also recorded a .990 fielding percentage.
Junior midfielder totaled 57 points for Mount Saint Vincent in 2010
5/21/2010 - College of Mount Saint Vincent Junior Jessie Mitchell (Suffern, N.Y.) has been named to the IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region Second Team it was announced on Thursday evening. Mitchell, who was second on the team in goals, assists and points, was one of 224 student-athletes honored across seven national regions.
Basketball, Volleyball and Speed and Agility camps to be offered
5/17/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Department of Athletics has announced its dates for the three summer camps that will be offered this coming summer. The department will offer a boys and girls basketball, boys and girls volleyball and a speed and agility camp starting in July.
Department handed out annual awards at event
5/10/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Department of Athletics held its annual Varsity Awards Banquet on Monday evening. At the event each program was recognized and handed out its team awards, while four individuals were honored with department wide awards. In addition three students were honored with awards for the Sports Medicine Department.
Dolphins earn 9.67 composite score
5/4/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s Lacrosse team has earned the Skyline Conference Team Sportsmanship Award it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. The award voted on by the league’s head coaches goes to the squad who best exemplifies sportsmanship throughout the course of the season.
Martin, Mitchell named First Team All-League
5/3/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Lacrosse team had five players earn All-Skyline Conference recognition it was announced on Monday afternoon. Senior Kelly Martin (Stony Point, N.Y.) and junior Jessie Mitchell (Suffern, N.Y.) were named to the First Team, while Katie Tucci (Baldwinsville, N.Y.), Kim Freaso (Setauket, N.Y.) and Erin Woerner (Kings Park, N.Y.) were all Second Team selections.
Pope led team in doubles, Labartino led way in steals
5/3/2010 - Three College of Mount Saint Vincent Baseball players were honored with All-Skyline recognition on Monday afternoon with two players being named to the conference’s First Team. Juniors Mike Pope (Massapequa, N.Y.) and James Labartino (Holbrook, N.Y.) were named First Team All-Skyline Conference and classmate John McManus (Queens, N.Y.) was a Second Team All-League selection.
Marni O’Shea named First Team All-Skyline after leading the team in hitting
5/3/2010 - Two College of Mount Saint Vincent Softball players were recognized by the Skyline Conference on Monday afternoon with All-League honors. Sophomore Marni O’Shea (White Plains, N.Y.) was named First Team All-Skyline Conference, while sister Lisa O’Shea (White Plains, N.Y.) was honored with Second Team All-League accolades.
