Saint Vincent Men’s Volleyball team opened the 2010
season with a 3-0 win over York (N.Y.) on Saturday
afternoon. The Dolphins swept the match by scores of 30-26,

dropping two straight league games the College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team has responded
with a pair of convincing wins, including Thursday
night’s 86-36 win over Yeshiva. Four Dolphins scored

fourth game out of its last five after a heartbreaking
73-71 loss at Yeshiva on Thursday night. A pair of Dolphins
scored in double-figures on the night with senior

Jason Torres ’98, ’00 the College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Volleyball team will open defense
of its 2009 Skyline Championship on Saturday against York
(N.Y.). The Mount is coming off a 15-14 campaign last
season, including a perfect 8-0 mark in the Skyline
Conference.

first meet since December 4 the College of Mount Saint
Vincent Women’s Swimming team was downed at John Jay
on Wednesday night by a score of 61-34. The Dolphins picked
up two individual wins on the night with
Michelle
Cabahug (Queens Village, N.Y.) winning the
100-yard backstroke and
Jeanette Marrocco
(Brooklyn, N.Y.) winning the 200-yard freestyle.

Saint Vincent players scored in double-figures, including
Pat Panetta (Ridgefield Park, N.J.) who
posted 15 points and 14 rebounds, as the Dolphins ended a
three game losing streak with a 90-72 win over Bard Tuesday
night. Panetta matched his career-high in rebounds and
rookie
Sean Caputo (Staten Island, N.Y.)
netted a career best 17 points for the Mount.

- The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s
Basketball team will look to snap a two game losing skid
this week when it travels to Bard on Tuesday night and then
hosts Yeshiva on Thursday. After winning four in a row from
December 20 – January 9 the Dolphins have dropped
their last two to fall to 5-3 in league play.

College of Mount Saint Vincent Department of Athletics has
announced venue and schedule changes for the home
basketball games this week. Due to construction on the
Hayes Building the men’s game against Bard on Tuesday
has been moved to Maritime at 8:00 p.m. and the
women’s game against Yeshiva on Thursday has been
moved to Baruch also at 8:00 p.m.

straight game on Saturday afternoon, falling at Maritime by
