1/23/2010 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Volleyball team opened the 2010
season with a 3-0 win over York (N.Y.) on Saturday
afternoon. The Dolphins swept the match by scores of 30-26,
30-28 and 30-16. Junior David Guerrero (East
Meadow, N.Y.) and senior Rob Hockenjos
(West Hempstead, N.Y.) led the way with 17 and 10
kills respectively. 
1/21/2010 - After
dropping two straight league games the College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team has responded
with a pair of convincing wins, including Thursday
night’s 86-36 win over Yeshiva. Four Dolphins scored
in double-figures, including Courtney Heesemann
(New Hyde Park, N.Y.) who posted game-highs with
20 points and 16 rebounds 
1/21/2010 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team dropped its
fourth game out of its last five after a heartbreaking
73-71 loss at Yeshiva on Thursday night. A pair of Dolphins
scored in double-figures on the night with senior
Nick DiMaggio (Croton, N.Y.) leading the
way with 14 points. 
1/21/2010 - This is to
inform all fans of the College of Mount Saint Vincent about
a series of updates over the next week to the system used
to post information on our athletics website. Starting
Friday, January 22 and running through Thursday, January 28
these updates will be taking place and the site will be out
of service. You will still be able to see the site, but new
information will not be able to be posted until next

1/21/2010 - Under new head coach
Jason Torres ’98, ’00 the College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Volleyball team will open defense
of its 2009 Skyline Championship on Saturday against York
(N.Y.). The Mount is coming off a 15-14 campaign last
season, including a perfect 8-0 mark in the Skyline
Conference. 
1/21/2010 - In its
first meet since December 4 the College of Mount Saint
Vincent Women’s Swimming team was downed at John Jay
on Wednesday night by a score of 61-34. The Dolphins picked
up two individual wins on the night with Michelle
Cabahug (Queens Village, N.Y.) winning the
100-yard backstroke and Jeanette Marrocco
(Brooklyn, N.Y.) winning the 200-yard freestyle.
1/19/2010 - Four College of Mount
Saint Vincent players scored in double-figures, including
Pat Panetta (Ridgefield Park, N.J.) who
posted 15 points and 14 rebounds, as the Dolphins ended a
three game losing streak with a 90-72 win over Bard Tuesday
night. Panetta matched his career-high in rebounds and
rookie Sean Caputo (Staten Island, N.Y.)
netted a career best 17 points for the Mount.
1/19/2010 - Junior
Kerry O’Connor (Bethpage, N.Y.) came
off the bench to knock down five three pointers on her way
to a career best 19 points as the College of Mount Saint
Vincent Women’s Basketball team cruised past Bard
80-45. O’Connor was one of two Dolphins to record a
career-high point total as Andree DeLeon (Flushing,
N.Y.) netted 12 points for the Mount

- The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s
Basketball team will look to snap a two game losing skid
this week when it travels to Bard on Tuesday night and then
hosts Yeshiva on Thursday. After winning four in a row from
December 20 – January 9 the Dolphins have dropped
their last two to fall to 5-3 in league play.
1/16/2010 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team dropped its third
straight game on Saturday afternoon, falling at Maritime by
a score of 84-69. Sophomore Joe Ecock (Brooklyn,
N.Y.) and freshman Sean Caputo (Staten
Island, N.Y.) led four Mount Saint Vincent players
in double-figures with 15 points each.
1/15/2010 - After
reeling off four straight wins the College of Mount Saint
Vincent Women’s Basketball team has now dropped two
in a row after a tough 56-51 loss at league rival Purchase
on Thursday night. Three Dolphins scored in double figures
in the contest, including Courtney Heesemann (New
Hyde Park, N.Y.) who posted her third straight and
34th career double-double. 
1/15/2010 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team dropped its
second straight league contest on Thursday night, falling
at Purchase by a score of 108-85. A pair of newcomers paced
the Mount Saint Vincent offensive attack with Cody
Guavard (Rockaway Park, N.Y.) leading the way with
26 points and Carson Miller (New Oxford,
Pa.) contributing 12.
1/13/2010 - Five College of
Mount Saint Vincent players scored in double figures and
three players posted double-doubles on Tuesday night, but
the Dolphins were edged 98-96 in triple overtime at
Farmingdale St. ending their season-high four game winning
streak. Sophomore Jen Mocanu (Middletown,
N.J.) scored a team-high 23 points and senior
Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, N.Y.)
handed out her 500th career assist.
1/13/2010 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team
fell on the road at Farmingdale St. late Tuesday night by a
score of 79-64. Senior Nick DiMaggio (Croton, N.Y.) led
three Dolphins in double figures with 15 points in the
contest. 
1/12/2010 - Looking to extend its
season long winning streak of four games, the College of
Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team will play
a pair of road league games coming up this week. The first
of those two will come on Tuesday night at unbeaten
Farmingdale St. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
1/9/2010 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team picked up a hard
fought 64-60 Skyline Conference win over NYU-POLY on
Saturday afternoon at the Sharp Center. A pair of freshmen
led the way for the Dolphins, with Carson Miller
(New Oxford, Pa.) posting 21 points and classmate
Sean Caputo (Staten Island, N.Y.) drilling
three triples on his way to 11 points.
1/9/2010 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team ran its winning
streak to four games with a 54-41 triumph over NYU-POLY on
Saturday afternoon. Lauren Percodani (Staten
Island, N.Y.) led three Dolphins in double figures
with a game-high 13 points
