3/27/2007 - In the
world of college athletics, there are literally hundreds
sounds that on their own can evoke certain emotions,
feelings, and thoughts for the die-hard sports fan. The
blow of the whistle, the bounce of the ball, the roar of
the crowd … all unique in their auditory
significance, but emotional nonetheless if athletics are
your proverbial cup of tea. At the College of Mount Saint
Vincent, as the February snow melts and the days get
longer and warmer, there is only one sound that truly
makes a statement that the Spring has arrived, the school
year is heading towards its conclusion, and summer
vacation is but a short time away.
