8/28/2008 - First
year head coach Brian Dunleavy will be
on the sidelines for his first career collegiate game on
Saturday night when the Mount Saint Vincent Men’s
Soccer team takes on Drew on day one of the Drew Fall
Festival. The Dolphins have a solid core of upperclassmen
returning in 2008 and will look to several newcomers to
make immediate impact this season.
8/26/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Soccer team has been picked to
finish eighth in the Skyline Conference Pre-Season
Coaches’ Poll that was released on Monday
afternoon. The Dolphins received 27 points in the poll
that is voted on by the league’s 10 head coaches.
6/18/2008 - College
of Mount Saint Vincent Acting Director of Athletics Steve
Macias has named Brian Dunleavy Head Men’s Soccer
Coach it was announced Wednesday afternoon. Dunleavy
comes to the Mount after playing at Hofstra from
1999-2002 and then coaching with the Pride from 2003
through the 2006 season.
11/13/2007 -
Freshman midfielder Thomas Federico (Islip,
NY) has been named Second Team All-Skyline
Conference in Men’s Soccer it was announced late
Tuesday afternoon. Federico registered 10 points in his
rookie campaign for the Mount.
11/5/2007 - The Culinary
Institute of America used two first half goals from
Austin Asadorian to cruise to a 3-0 win over Mount Saint
Vincent in the Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic
Conference Soccer Championship game on Sunday. Following
the contest three members of the Dolphin’s squad
were lauded with All-HVMAC accolades.
10/28/2007 - The College of
Mount Saint Vincent Men’s Soccer team advanced
to the Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference
championship game with a 3-2 win over third seeded
Cooper Union on Sunday morning at Westchester
Community College. Mike Hernandez
(Ridgefield, NJ) scored two goals,
including the game winner with just under 10 minutes
remaining in regulation.

The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s
Soccer team snapped its five game losing skid with a
3-0 win over Skyline Conference foe Mount Saint Mary
on Wednesday. Thomas Federico (Islip,
NY) scored the game winning goal in the
eighth minute and William Raftery (Throggs
Neck, NY) made five saves for his second
shutout of the season.
