Lisa O'Shea has been named First Team All-Skyline for the second straight season.
Lawrenceville, N.J. – College of Mount Saint Vincent junior Lisa O’Shea (White Plains, N.Y.) has been named First Team All-Skyline Conference in Softball for the second straight season it was announced on Monday afternoon. O’Shea is currently the team leader in batting average, hitting at a 507 clip in 2009.

O’Shea has played and started all 25 games thus far for the Dolphins and is hitting at .507 in 73 at-bats. She is leading the team with 37 hits and it second on the squad with 28 runs scored in her junior campaign. She is the team leader with 17 extra base hits, including eight doubles, two triples and a team-high seven home runs. She is also tied for the team lead with 11 walks and is pacing the Dolphins with 36 RBI in 25 games and 70 total bases.

The Dolphins closed out the regular season with an eight game winning streak and stand at 16-9 overall on the season. Mount Saint Vincent is awaiting word on an ECAC Tournament bid with the announcement coming later this afternoon.
