WOMEN'S LACROSSE DUO CONTINUES RECORD-BREAKING
TREND
Somebody is going to graduate as the all-time points
leader in Women's Lacrosse history next
season. Whether it is Chanel Comis or Cyndi Adams,
only time will tell. During the May 12 ECAC
Metro/Upstate Semifinal loss to Vassar, Comis scored
three goals to increase her career total to 93. Along
with 25 assists, Comis now has 118 career points, the
highest total in Mount Saint Vincent history. Adams
scored a goal during the game and now has 104 goals
and 13 assists for her career, or 117 total points.
Adams is the all-time leading goal scorer in Mount
Saint Vincent history, leading Comis by 11 goals.
With the duo one point apart entering the 2008
season, there is yet another bit of excitement
surrounding a program that is expected to generate
plenty of exciting moments throughout the year.

5/1/2008 - For the
second straight time, the College of Mount Saint Vincent
Women’s Lacrosse squad was defeated 14-13 at the
hands of Kean University. Four Dolphins scored at least
of pair of goals in the Skyline Conference Tournament
Semifinal contest, with freshman attack Lauren
Perla (Holbrook, NY) posting career-highs in
goals with four and points with five.
3/9/2007 - As the
curtain rises on the third year of varsity Women’s
Lacrosse at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, it is
safe too say that Head Coach Michael
Spinner has learned only one lesson during his
fourth year at the Mount Saint Vincent helm. After a
winless club season in 2004, a 12-4 inaugural season in
2005, and a 2006 campaign that saw the Mount finish 9-8
during the regular season and advance to both the Skyline
Conference and ECAC Upstate Semifinals, Spinner admits
that if there is anything he has learned since beginning
the program at Mount Saint Vincent, it is that the
unexpected is truly the norm. He claims that he has yet
to see the team actualize the expectations he generated
prior to the team’s first game. And while most
coaches would shun the idea of surprise finishes as the
norm, Spinner has embraced the fact that his team
routinely failed to perform as their coach expected, and
it is something he hopes to see again in 2007.
