Kevin Maribao was named the Skyline's top rookie for the 2009 season.
Lawrenceville, N.J. – College of Mount Saint Vincent freshman Kevin Maribao (Yonkers, N.Y.) has been named the Skyline Conference Men’s Tennis Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Skyline Conference it was announced on Monday afternoon. Maribao paced the Dolphins with eight singles victories in 2009 and four doubles wins for the Mount.

Maribao led all Mount Saint Vincent players with an 8-3 overall singles record as a freshman, including a 7-3 mark at the first position. He also scored four doubles victories for the Dolphins this season and teamed with Albert Munroe (Milford, Conn.) to go 4-2 at first doubles.

Maribao closed the 2009 season with a four match individual winning streak at first singles, posting wins against Bard, Sage, Lehman and York (N.Y.). The Mount finished the season with a 3-8 overall record.
