dropping two straight league games the College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team has responded
with a pair of convincing wins, including Thursday
night’s 86-36 win over Yeshiva. Four Dolphins
scored in double-figures, including Courtney
Heesemann (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) who posted
game-highs with 20 points and 16 rebounds
1/19/2010 - Junior
Kerry O’Connor (Bethpage, N.Y.)
came off the bench to knock down five three pointers on
her way to a career best 19 points as the College of
Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team cruised
past Bard 80-45. O’Connor was one of two Dolphins
to record a career-high point total as Andree
DeLeon (Flushing, N.Y.) netted 12 points for the
Mount
1/19/2010 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team will look to
snap a two game losing skid this week when it travels to
Bard on Tuesday night and then hosts Yeshiva on Thursday.
After winning four in a row from December 20 –
January 9 the Dolphins have dropped their last two to
fall to 5-3 in league play.
1/15/2010 - After
reeling off four straight wins the College of Mount Saint
Vincent Women’s Basketball team has now dropped two
in a row after a tough 56-51 loss at league rival
Purchase on Thursday night. Three Dolphins scored in
double figures in the contest, including Courtney
Heesemann (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) who posted her
third straight and 34th career double-double.
1/13/2010 -
Five College of Mount Saint Vincent players scored
in double figures and three players posted double-doubles
on Tuesday night, but the Dolphins were edged 98-96 in
triple overtime at Farmingdale St. ending their
season-high four game winning streak. Sophomore
Jen Mocanu (Middletown, N.J.) scored a
team-high 23 points and senior Lauren Percodani
(Staten Island, N.Y.) handed out her 500th
career assist.
1/12/2010 - Looking
to extend its season long winning streak of four games,
the College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s
Basketball team will play a pair of road league games
coming up this week. The first of those two will come on
Tuesday night at unbeaten Farmingdale St. Tip-off is set
for 6:00 p.m.
1/9/2010 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team ran its winning streak to four games with a 54-41
triumph over NYU-POLY on Saturday afternoon.

Mount players to score at least 10 points, with
Jill Brady (Rockaway Beach, N.Y.) adding
12 and Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, N.Y.)
netting 11.
1/5/2010 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team picked up its
first home win of the season with a 69-58 triumph over
Sage on Tuesday night. Senior Karissa Koerner
(Bay Shore, N.Y.) finished with five three point
field goals on her way to a game-high 21 points and
sophomore Jen Mocanu (Middletown, N.J.)
posted a career best six assists.
1/5/2010 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team returns to
action after the holiday break with three league games
this coming week. The Dolphins will play two of the three
games at the Peter Jay Sharp Center starting with Tuesday
night’s contest against Sage. Tip-off with the
Gators is set for 7:00 p.m.
12/21/2009 - College
of Mount Saint Vincent senior forward/center
Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, N.Y.)
has been named the Skyline Conference Women’s
Basketball Player of the Week it was announced on Monday
afternoon. Monday’s award if the third weekly honor
that Heesemann has received in her career.
12/20/2009 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team concluded its trip to Fort Lauderdale with an 89-57
win over Curry College in the 10th Cruzin’ Classic.
Senior Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park,
N.Y.) recorded her 31st career double-double in
the contest, netting 21 points and pulling down a
game-high 13 rebounds.
12/15/2009 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team was defeated on the road Tuesday evening at
Montclair St. by a score of 71-55. Senior center
Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, N.Y.)
led three Dolphins in double-figures with a game-high 16
points on the night.
12/15/2009 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team will close out the semester with three games away
from home this week. The Dolphins, who have played just
one home game to this point, will travel to Montclair St.
on December 15 and then to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to take
on Millikin and Curry as part of the Cruzin’
Classic on December 19 and 20.
12/15/2009 - College of Mount
Saint Vincent sophomore guard Jen Mocanu
(Middletown, N.J.) has been named the Skyline
Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week it
was announced by the league on Monday evening. This is
Mocanu’s first career Player of the Week award
after being named Rookie of the Week four times during
the 2008-09 season.
12/9/2009 - College of Mount
Saint Vincent sophomore Jen Mocanu (Middletown,
N.J.) went 10-18 from the field and 5-8 from
three point range on her way to a career-high 27 points
in the Mount’s 77-72 win at Old Westbury. She was
one of three players in double figures for the Dolphins
as Lauren Percodani (Staten Island,
N.Y.) and Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde
Park, N.Y.) each finished with 14 points.
12/9/2009 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team will be back
in action again on Wednesday night when it travels to
Skyline rival Old Westbury. Tip-off with the 5-0 Panthers
is slated for 7:00 p.m.
12/3/2009 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team was upended by Skyline Conference Preseason Favorite
Mount Saint Mary by a score of 67-45 on Thursday night.
Senior Lauren Percodani (Staten Island,
N.Y.) and sophomore Jen Mocanu
(Middletown, N.J.) paced the offensive attack
with nine points each.
11/22/2009 - After scoring 29
points in two games, senior Karissa Koerner (Bay
Shore, N.Y.) was named to the NYU Tip-Off
All-Tournament Team it was announced late Saturday.
Koerner led all players with 20 points in Mount Saint
Vincent’s 68-64 win over Lehman in the consolation
game of the event.
11/20/2009 -
The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s
Basketball team was defeated on Friday evening at
#19/23 New York University by a score of 59-49 in
the first round of the NYU Tip-Off Tournament.
Seniors Ciara Clarke (Warwick,
N.Y.) and Karissa Koerner (Bay
Shore, N.Y.) paced the Mount with nine
points apiece.
11/19/2009 - Senior
Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, N.Y.)
scored a game-high 20 points and ripped down a
game-high14 rebounds in Mount Saint Vincent’s
season opening 59-49 win at Rowan Thursday night.
Jen Mocanu (Middletown, N.J.) also
recorded a double-double for the Dolphins with 15 points
and 10 boards.
3/2/2009 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team has been
selected to participate in the ECAC Division III Metro
Division Tournament for the second straight year it was
announced on Monday. The Dolphins will enter the
tournament as the fourth seed and will travel to the
College of Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday night.
2/22/2009 - College of Mount
Saint Vincent freshman Ashley Ruiz (Carmel,
N.Y.) went 10-11 from the field overall and 6-7
from three point range on her way to a career-high 27
points in the Mount’s 102-98 win over Farmingdale
State. Ruiz was one of three Dolphins to score better
than 20 points in the contest, with Karissa
Koerner (Bay Shore, N.Y.) scoring 22 and
Jen Mocanu (Middletown, N.J.) adding 20.
2/18/2009 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team will be hosting its WBCA Pink Zone™ game this
Saturday, February 21. The Dolphins will host Farmingdale
State at 3:00 p.m.
2/16/2009 - College
of Mount Saint Vincent Head Women’s Basketball
Coach Gerald Davis will be holding a book signing
following the Dolphins’ regular season finale on
February 21 for his first book titled Coaching With The
Scriptures.

Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, NY) has
been named the Skyline Conference Women’s
Basketball Player of the Week it was announced on
Monday afternoon. Form December 15 through January 4
Koerner averaged 21.8 points and 3.8 rebounds over
four games.
12/19/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team was defeated
by a score of 76-54 Thursday night at William Paterson.
Junior guard Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore,
NY) was the only Dolphin to score in
double-figures in the contest, netting 17 points.
12/5/2008 - College
of Mount Saint Vincent freshman Brittany Griffin
(Suffern, NY) scored a team-high 22 points and
classmate Jen Mocanu (Middletown, NJ)
chipped in with 18 as the Dolphins won their home opener
over Yeshiva 90-73 on Thursday night. The win gives the
Dolphins two straight Skyline Conference wins.
3/5/2008 - The
eighth seeded College of Mount Saint Vincent
Women’s Basketball team’s season came to an
end on Wednesday night with a 61-40 loss at top seeded
Montclair St. in the Opening Round of the ECAC Division
III Metro Region Tournament. Sophomore Courtney
Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY) scored a game-high
20 points in the contest and reached at least 20 points
for the seventh time this season.
3/3/2008 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team has been selected as the eighth seed in the ECAC
Division III Metro Region Tournament it was announced
Monday afternoon. The Dolphins will square-off with the
top seeded Montclair St. Red Hawks on Wednesday, March 5
at 7:30 p.m. in Panzer Gymnasium at Montclair St. This
marks the first post-season bid for the women’s
program at Mount Saint Vincent on record.
3/3/2008 - A pair
of College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s
Basketball players have garnered All-Skyline Conference
Awards it was announced by the league office on Monday.
Sophomore Lauren Percodani (Staten Island,
NY) was named First Team All-Skyline Conference,
while classmate Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde
Park, NY) was named Second Team All-Skyline.
2/28/2008 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s
Basketball team dropped a hard fought 60-57 decision
at Farmingdale State in the semifinal round of the
Skyline Conference Tournament on Thursday night. A
pair of sophomores led the Dolphins, as
Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park,
NY) led the team with 18 points and
classmate Ciara Clarke (Warwick,
NY) netted 15 points for the Mount.
2/26/2008 - College of Mount
Saint Vincent senior captain Kaitlin Burud (Red
Hook, NY) reached yet another career milestone,
as she recorded her 1,000th career point in the
Dolphins’ 60-51 Skyline Conference Tournament
Quarterfinal win over Old Westbury. Burud was one of a
pair of Dolphins to reach double-figures in the contest,
as Ashley Farrow (Ocean, NJ) posted 11
points. The win moves the Mount to the Conference
Semifinals for the second straight year.
2/25/2008 -
Senior Women’s Basketball captain
Kaitlin Burud (Red Hook, NY) has
been named a Skyline Conference Co-Player of the
Week it was announced by the league office on
Monday. This marks the first time this season that
Burud has been honored by the league and the third
time a member of the Mount squad has been
recognized.
2/25/2008 - Kaitlin
Burud’s (Red Hook, NY) triple-double led
the Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team to
a 65-62 win at Purchase in the regular season finale.
Burud posted 15 points on 5-8 shooting to go along with
10 rebounds and 11 steals. Burud was one of three
Dolphins to record double-figures in the game, as
Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY)
and Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, NY) each
posted 17 points.
2/23/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team won its third
straight game, defeating Yeshiva 69-39 at Baruch on
Wednesday night. Senior captain Kaitlin Burud
(Red Hook, NY) led three Mount players in
double-figures with 26 points and recorded her third
straight double-double with 11 rebounds.
2/17/2008 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team won its second straight Hudson Valley Women’s
Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday with a 69-55
win over the College of Saint Elizabeth. For the second
straight day Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park,
NY) and Kaitlin Burud (Red Hook,
NY) recorded double-doubles for the Mount.
Following in the contest, Burud was named the
tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
2/15/2008 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team dropped just its third home game of the season after
falling to St. Joseph’s-Long Island (13-9, 11-4
Skyline) on Thursday night by a score of 69-62. Freshman
guard Kerry O’Connor (Bethpage,
NY) dropped a career-high 16 points in the
contest and was one of three Dolphins to score in
double-figures.
2/11/2008 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team had its eight game winning streak snapped with a
69-51 loss at Mount Saint Mary on Saturday afternoon.
Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY)
and Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, NY)
posted double-figures for the Dolphins, scoring 16 and 10
points respectively.
2/7/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team won its
seventh straight game on Wednesday night with a 78-65
road victory at Skyline rival Bard (10-10, 4-9). Five
players scored in double-figures for the Mount, led by
Courtney Heesemann’s (New Hyde Park,
NY) 21 points. Karrisa Koerner (Bay
Shore, NY) matched her career-high by knocking
down five three-pointers on her way to 19 points.
1/30/2008 -
College of Mount Saint Vincent senior
Kaitlin Burud (Red Hook, NY) was
honored prior to Tuesday night’s contest with
Old Westbury for reaching two prominent career
milestones. Burud picked up her 300th career steal
on January 14 against Bard and then grabbed her
500th career rebound on January 26 at Farmingdale
State.
1/14/2008 - Sophomore
Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY)
led five Mount Saint Vincent players in double-figures as
the Dolphins cruised to a 76-50 victory over visiting
Bard on Monday night. Freshman Kerry
O’Connor (Bethpage, NY) also had a strong
night as she finished with 14 points in the win.
1/12/2008 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s
Basketball team’s six game winning streak came
to an end with a 60-59 loss to Mount Saint Mary
(12-1, 6-0 Skyline) on Saturday afternoon. Three
Dolphins scored in double-figures in the contest,
led by Courtney Hessemann’s (New Hyde
Park, NY) 19 points. Heesemann also pulled
down a game-high 12 rebounds to record her third
consecutive double-double.
