3/3/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team’s season ended on Wednesday night with a hard fought 56-53 loss at Drew in the ECAC Metro Division Tournament. Senior Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, N.Y.) led three Dolphins in double-figures with a game-high 16 points.

3/2/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team has been selected as the second seed in this week’s ECAC Metro Division Tournament it was announced on Monday afternoon. The Dolphins will travel to Drew University on Wednesday, March 3 as they will mark their third straight appearance in the tournament. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.

3/2/2010 - A pair of seniors from the College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball program have been honored by the Skyline Conference it was announced on Monday afternoon. After helping the Dolphins to 18 wins to date and their fourth trip to the Skyline Conference Semifinals, Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) and Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, N.Y.) were named First Team All-Skyline Conference.

3/2/2010 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team had its eight game winning streak snapped on Saturday with a 73-46 loss to Mount Saint Mary in the Skyline Conference Tournament Semifinals. Senior Jill Brady (Rockaway Beach, N.Y.) led the Dolphins with a game-high 14 points in the contest.

3/2/2010 - Senior Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, N.Y.) scored a career-high 26 points as the College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team advanced to the Skyline Conference Tournament Semifinals with a hard fought 78-66 win over NYU-POLY on Tuesday night. Percodani paced four Dolphins in double figures, with Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) adding 20 points for the Mount.

3/2/2010 - At the 18:03 mark of the first half in Mount Saint Vincent’s 78-68 win over CCNY on Monday night, senior Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, N.Y.) became the third active member of the Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team to score 1,000 career points. She finished the night with six tallies and five rebounds as the Dolphins won their sixth straight contest.

3/2/2010 - College of Mount Saint Vincent Senior Jill Brady (Rockaway Beach, N.Y.) led four players in double-figures as the Dolphins pushed their winning streak to a season-high five games after a 67-53 win at NYU-POLY Saturday afternoon. Classmate Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, N.Y.) netted 10 points and now stands just a single tally short of 1,000 for her career.

3/2/2010 - College of Mount Saint Vincent senior Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, N.Y.) went 7-for-8 from the field and 8-for-10 from the free-throw line on Thursday on her way to a career-high 24 points in the Mount’s 69-48 win over Purchase. The win gives Mount Saint Vincent a four game winning streak, matching the longest such streak over the past two seasons.

Mount Saint Vincent had four players reach double-figures, led by Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) who posted 20 points and 10 rebounds.

This is Mocanu’s first career Player of the Week award after being named Rookie of the Week four times during the 2008-09 season.

11/22/2009 - After scoring 29 points in two games, senior Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, N.Y.) was named to the NYU Tip-Off All-Tournament Team it was announced late Saturday. Koerner led all players with 20 points in Mount Saint Vincent’s 68-64 win over Lehman in the consolation game of the event.

Ruiz was one of three Dolphins to score better than 20 points in the contest, with Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, N.Y.) scoring 22 and Jen Mocanu (Middletown, N.J.) adding 20.

10/1/2008 - College of Mount Saint Vincent Director of Athletics Steve Macias has announced the hiring of Gerald Davis to the position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Davis brings a wealth of coaching experience at both the high school and college level and most recently served as an assistant coach at Division II C.W. Post.

3/5/2008 - The eighth seeded College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team’s season came to an end on Wednesday night with a 61-40 loss at top seeded Montclair St. in the Opening Round of the ECAC Division III Metro Region Tournament. Sophomore Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY) scored a game-high 20 points in the contest and reached at least 20 points for the seventh time this season.

The Dolphins will square-off with the top seeded Montclair St. Red Hawks on Wednesday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Panzer Gymnasium at Montclair St. This marks the first post-season bid for the women’s program at Mount Saint Vincent on record.

Sophomore Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, NY) was named First Team All-Skyline Conference, while classmate Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY) was named Second Team All-Skyline.

A pair of sophomores led the Dolphins, as Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY) led the team with 18 points and classmate Ciara Clarke (Warwick, NY) netted 15 points for the Mount.

2/26/2008 - College of Mount Saint Vincent senior captain Kaitlin Burud (Red Hook, NY) reached yet another career milestone, as she recorded her 1,000th career point in the Dolphins’ 60-51 Skyline Conference Tournament Quarterfinal win over Old Westbury. Burud was one of a pair of Dolphins to reach double-figures in the contest, as Ashley Farrow (Ocean, NJ) posted 11 points. The win moves the Mount to the Conference Semifinals for the second straight year.

2/25/2008 - Kaitlin Burud’s (Red Hook, NY) triple-double led the Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team to a 65-62 win at Purchase in the regular season finale. Burud posted 15 points on 5-8 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds and 11 steals. Burud was one of three Dolphins to record double-figures in the game, as Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY) and Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, NY) each posted 17 points.

Senior captain Kaitlin Burud (Red Hook, NY) led three Mount players in double-figures with 26 points and recorded her third straight double-double with 11 rebounds.

2/17/2008 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team won its second straight Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday with a 69-55 win over the College of Saint Elizabeth. For the second straight day Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY) and Kaitlin Burud (Red Hook, NY) recorded double-doubles for the Mount. Following in the contest, Burud was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
