11/12/2007 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s JV Basketball team split its two games in the Hudson Valley Tip-Off Tournament this past Saturday and Sunday. The Dolphins picked up their first win of the season on Saturday when they downed Cooper Union 83-75, but were edged in the championship game by two-time HVMAC champion Berkeley 100-95 on Sunday. 2/18/2007 - Mount Saint Vincent JV Basketball seniors Kareem Wright (Bronx, NY/Cardinal Hayes) and Matt Salamone (Fishkill, NY/John Jay HS) have been named to the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference (HVMAC) All-Conference team as a result of outstanding performances during the 2006-07 season. The announcement was made Sunday at the conclusion of the HVMAC Championship Game between St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) and Berkeley College, won by Berkeley College. 12/5/2006 - For the second time during the last three weeks, Mount Saint Vincent JV Basketball freshman Ralph Kube (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon HS) and Women's Basketball freshman Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY/New Hyde Park HS) were honored as the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference (HVMAC) and Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) Rookie of the Week for their respective efforts in leading their teams to 2-0 records. The JV team overcame an 0-7 start to the season to win the Gryphon Invitational at Sarah Lawrence College, while the Women's team scored victories over their arch-rival in both the HVWAC and Skyline Conferences. Both were honored as Rookie of the Week during the week of Nov. 21. More...
