Saint Vincent Men’s JV Basketball team improved to
10-8 overall on the season and 5-1 in the Hudson Valley
Men’s Athletic Conference on Thursday night with a
92-51 win at Sarah Lawrence. Freshman Justin
Akridge (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood) led four
Dolphins in double-figures with a game-high 31 points.
1/24/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s JV Basketball squad evened its
record at 8-8 overall on the season with a home win over
Vaughn on Wednesday night. Justin Akridge
(Ridgewood, NJ) scored 29 points in the victory,
while J.R. Downey (Highland Falls, NY)
chipped in 22 for the Dolphins.
1/16/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent JV Basketball team picked up its second
straight win and moved to 4-1 in the Hudson Valley
Men’s Athletic Conference with a convincing win
over Pratt at Hayes Gymnasium on Wednesday night.
Freshman Justin Akridge (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood) scored
38 points in the win to go along with five rebounds.

Saint Vincent freshman Jeff Hoyt (Newington,
CT) was named the Hudson Valley Men’s
Athletic Conference Basketball Rookie of the Week it was
announced late Tuesday. The 5-11 guard helped the
Dolphins advance to the championship game of the Hudson
Valley Tip-Tournament by averaging 22.0 points over the
two games last weekend.
