Men’s Lacrosse, Softball Games Postponed
Lacrosse game moved to Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Poor weather has postponed the men's lacrosse and softball games.
Riverdale, N.Y. – Due to inclement weather in and around the area and poor field conditions the College of Mount Saint Vincent has had its Men’s Lacrosse game at Richard Stockton scheduled for this evening at 7:30 p.m. and its Softball doubleheader at the College of Saint Elizabeth scheduled for this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. postponed. The lacrosse game will be played Thursday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. and the softball twinbill will be played on Sunday, April 26 starting at 11:00 a.m.

The Men’s Lacrosse team will enter Thursday’s action with a 5-6 overall record and a 0-3 mark in Skyline Conference play. After winning three straight heading into league play, the Dolphins have now dropped three straight league contests. Sophomore Mike Shea (Congers, N.Y) is leading the Mount in goals (27), assists (17) and points (44) so far this season and junior Mike Nuzzi (Westbury, N.Y.) has started all 11 contests in the cage and has made 149 saves.

The Softball team will take on New Rochelle tomorrow afternoon in a single contest before closing out the league schedule at Purchase on Friday afternoon. Mount Saint Vincent will then close out the regular season with a doubleheader at St. Elizabeth on Sunday and a set at Sarah Lawrence on Monday. The Dolphins currently stand at 9-9 on the season overall and 4-8 in league play. Lisa O’Shea (White Plains, N.Y.) leads the squad with a .431 batting average and has driven in a team-high 25 runs. Junior Megan Gonzalez (Fishers, Ind.) leads the Mount with a 6-4 record in 10 starts and has finished 10 complete games.
