3/11/2007 - For the
last two seasons, they have been the team that has
shocked the local baseball world by competing with the
very best the region has to offer despite the fact that
prior to 2005 they had never played a game. But despite
successes that have led to a 31-39 overall record and a
near-.500 record in Skyline Conference play during their
first two seasons, the post-season has been elusive for
the Mount Saint Vincent Baseball team. As the 2007 season
kicks off, the frustrations of not yet reaching the
playoffs appear to be coming to an end as for the first
time the Dolphins will field a veteran baseball team, and
with a seasoned veteran Head Coach now at the Dolphin
helm, all signs point to the most successful season yet
for the Mount.
