T.J. Pufahl Named Skyline Men’s Volleyball Player Of The Week
Senior named MVP of Skyline Championships

Lawrenceville, N.J. – College of Mount Saint Vincent senior T.J. Pufahl (Bethpage, N.Y.) has been named the Skyline Conference Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week it was announced on Monday evening. Pufahl led the Dolphins to the 2009 Skyline Championship and was named the Most Valuable Player of the event.

Pufahl and the Dolphins finished unbeaten in Skyline regular-season play (8-0) and then defeated Yeshiva and Bard to capture the Skyline title. In five matches on the week, the senior averaged 3.44 kills, 1.00 digs and 0.56 service aces per match. In the championship match against Bard, Pufahl recorded 16 kills, four digs and three total blocks as the Dolphins prevailed in a thriller, 31-29, 26-30, 30-26, 34-32.
With the 4-1 week the Mount stands at 15-13 overall.
