Gerald T. Davis, College of Mount Saint Vincent Head Women’s Basketball Coach, will host a book signing following the Dolphins’ regular season finale on February 21 for his first work entitled Coaching With The Scriptures. The book is a practical guide of Biblical writings and experiences that are geared to help the novice and professional in any sport.
Coaching With The Scriptures is also recommended as a daily devotional to start the day of any busy individual. According to Davis, “The word of God works for any sport, but only if you work the word.”
Davis has been a fan of sports for years and has over 20 years of coaching experience.
“Since my infusion into coaching I have been inspired to interject the principles and ideals of the Bible, along with help from those in the coaching fraternity, to help others become better coaches and citizens,” said Davis. “My prayer is that people from all walks of life will be enlightened and challenged to be better and to do better by reading Coaching With The Scriptures.”
Coach Davis will be available after the Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball game on February 21. The book signing will take place at 5:30 p.m. inside the dance studio in the Hayes building. Books will be available for $15.
