The Department of Mathematics aims to prepare students for further study in mathematics and for careers in related disciplines. It also seeks to develop an appreciation of mathematics as an integral component of a liberal education.

The fifth annual SPUYTEN DUYVIL Undergraduate Math Conference was held on April  24, hosted by St. Francis College in Brooklyn. Congratulations to our senior, Yafreisy Carrero, who gave a presentation on Architecture expressed in forms of Dihedral Groups and Frieze Groups.
