Department of Teacher Education
The College of Mount Saint Vincent offers certification programs in elementary, secondary, and special education. In addition, you’ll find dual certification programs, a five-year B.A./M.S., and our master’s program in urban and multicultural education. Students may specialize in areas such as early childhood, childhood, or adolescence education. Students pursuing adolescence education may obtain certification in one of seven fields: biology, chemistry, English, French, history, mathematics, or Spanish. A five-year combined B.A./M.S. program in urban and multicultural education is also available.
