9/29/2008 - PURCHASE, NY – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Tennis team was defeated 9-0 by Mount Saint Mary on Monday night at Purchase. The loss drops Mount Saint Vincent to 2-6 overall on the season and to 0-5 in Skyline Conference competition.

Mount Saint Mary, the pre-season favorite to win the conference championship, dropped just three games in singles competition in the match on Monday. The Blue Knights were 6-0, 6-0 winners at first, fifth and sixth singles and 8-0 winners at second doubles.

Mount Saint Vincent will look to snap its two match losing streak on Tuesday when they travel to Sarah Lawrence. The road match is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
