The BRIDGE (Basic Resources for Individualized Development and Growth in Education) program at Mount Saint Vincent is designed to bridge the gap between the
high school curriculum and the college curriculum. It provides academic support for this transition for selected students that have been admitted to the College. In their first semester, students in BRIDGE take four core academic courses and a one-credit study skills course that addresses topics such as how to manage time efficiently, take lecture notes effectively and prepare for exams. All first year BRIDGE students meet with their advisor, the Director of BRIDGE, regularly for academic counseling and support.
