The gala is a significant event for the College and for the community as monies raised provide scholarship funds for students with extraordinary ability and great need, a vital investment in the future.

The College of Mount Saint Vincent will host its annual Scholarship Tribute Dinner at Cipriani on 42nd Street in New York City. The Dinner is an important event for the College and for the community as monies raised through the Dinner provide scholarship funds for strong students with great need, a wonderful investment in the future.
In addition to supporting the Dinner by purchasing a table/s or tickets, invitees are also offered something new - the opportunity to underwrite key segments of the event, as well as the ability to advertise in the Online Dinner Journal. SPOTLIGHT: Construction of Mastronardi Residence Hall Underway
Scheduled to open for the Fall 2007 semester, Mastronardi Residence Hall will house nearly 200 students in double occupancy rooms and provide additional lounge, study and meeting spaces. The need for the new residence hall is critical, as current residence halls are filled to capacity and the proportion of resident to commuter students increases every year. As a result of extraordinary support from our Alumnae/i and friends, the College of Mount Saint Vincent has awarded 35% of its new freshman class merit based scholarships. Our students are critical thinkers, creative learners and unconventional dreamers. Scholarship awards provide these impressive individuals an opportunity to enhance their lives, and the lives of their families, friends and communities.
For Divine Tabios, Class of 2004, a merit scholarship from the College of Mount Saint Vincent made the difference between attending the Mount and attending a community college. This is not unusual; nearly 90 percent of the Mount’s students receive some kind of financial assistance. SPOTLIGHT: College Receives Grant Money to Provide a State-of-the-Art Patient Simulator
The Hugoton Foundation has awarded the College $50,000 for the acquisition of SimMan, a state-of-the-art patient simulator, which will be used in the College's Nursing Arts Laboratories. SimMan is an interactive life-size mannequin that is run remotely by a laptop computer and can be pre-programmed with a particular condition and respond to treatment. Learn more...
