$2.3 Million in Funding over Five Years Will Enhance Academic Offerings for Hispanic Students

The grant assists institutions to develop and increase their academic offerings and programs for Hispanic students. The College is proud to announce that Catherine Marshall, long-term employee of the College of Mount Saint Vincent, has been selected to represent Westchester County by the New York City Saint Patrick's Parade Committee. Ms. Marshall will be installed as an aide to the Grand Marshall for this year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade. In addition to marching with aides representing NYC boroughs and neighboring counties, Ms. Marshall will be honored at a ceremony on February 23, 2014.

Students at the College of Mount Saint Vincent will host the first annual Festival of the Arts in Maryvale Hall on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. The evening will feature performances in dance, spoken word, and music performed by faculty, staff, and student groups, including WORDS and Filament. Over $23,000 has been raised by the College of Mount Saint Vincent to help survivors of Typhoon Haiyan. The College will donate the funds to Concern Worldwide’s Typhoon Haiyan Relief campaign.
