1/15/2010 - Kevin's comparison between Mexico and India was to determine if the global financial crisis spells automatic hardship for remittance dependent nations or presents the chance to show resilience and growth. He concluded that despite an economic slowdown, global remittance payments continue to flow.
1/11/2010 - In a recently released report funded by the National Science Foundation, Benchmarking the Success of Latino and Latina Students in STEM to Achieve National Graduation Goals by the Center for Urban Education, the College of Mount Saint Vincent received the report’s highest equity rating in terms of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) degrees awarded to Latino students compared to the proportion of Latino students enrolled in STEM fields.
12/22/2009 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent will be holding a Transfer Student Information Session to address the particular needs of transfer students.
12/4/2009 - Forgoing the usual Secret Santa gifts and office party trinkets, some Mount employees are pooling their gift giving funds to provide Bronx families with toys for their children and gift cards from supermarkets in order to make their Christmas holiday brighter.
